Cory Halaby

Certified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher, E-RYT 200 Yoga Instructor, and Master Certified Life Coach

Cory Halaby brings a wealth of expertise in mindfulness and yoga. She has a deep passion for empowering individuals through heart-centered leadership, mindfulness, and stress reduction techniques. Over the years, Cory has supported countless clients through workshops, retreats, yoga, and life coaching. Her mindfulness-based approach is designed to help individuals cultivate greater ease, clarity, and personal growth in their everyday lives.

In the early 2000s, after earning a BA from Williams College and fresh from a brief, but formative career in book publishing, Cory began a meditation practice as a way to integrate all of the powerful new emotions and anxieties that came with being a new mom. That practice sparked a thread of curiosity which led to yoga teacher training at South Boston Yoga with David Vendetti, life coach training and certification through Martha Beck, Reiki work as a hospital volunteer, mindfulness meditation teacher certification through Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield, and to Cory’s collaboration with Molly Shrewsberry, MPH, MS, and Stacy Kennedy, MPH, RD, in creating the Wellesley Wellness Retreat, an annual women’s event centered around self-care.

Through years of engagement with yoga and meditation, Cory has witnessed the many ways mindful practice not only delivers personal benefits but also creates broader positive change in families, communities, and cultures. She is eager to share the tools that can mitigate life’s difficulties and help every individual lead from a place of courage and kindness.
