Stephanie Fischer, DA, Lic. Ac. MAc.
Licensed Acupuncturist
Stephanie Fischer is a licensed acupuncturist with over 15 years of clinical experience. She earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Vermont and her Master's of Acupuncture from the New England School of Acupuncture. She is also board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
Additional post-graduate work includes specialized training in Japanese style acupuncture and certifications in Kiiko Matsumoto style acupuncture, non-needle acupuncture, orthopedics, and Reiki healing. For over two years, Stephanie was part of the Integrative Therapies team at Massachusetts General Hospital, providing acupuncture to adult and pediatric patients in the cancer center. In 2018 she traveled to Osaka and Kyoto, Japan, to complete an intensive study to further deepen her acupuncture and moxibustion training.
Stephanie has always been passionate about her field and teaching her patients and peers about acupuncture and preventative medicine. She enjoys helping people understand more about how acupuncture works to bring their body back into a more balanced energetic state that facilitates healing. SInce being introduced to the healing art of acupuncture at a young age while she visited her family in Switzerland, Stephanie always knew she wanted to help people with this ancient medicine. Outside of Synergy, she also works in a multi-disciplinary private practice in Rhode Island and spends her free time with her husband, daughter, and two dogs.
